Although not the proper numbering I've numbered them from when 'Knockout' merged with 'Whizzer & Chips' just to see how many 'Knockout's were on the mast.

WHIZZER & CHIPS INCORPORATING KNOCKOUT
Lasted until around November 1974 so a possible 74 Issues with Knockout on the Mask.
I looked through my copies of Whizzer and Chips: the last issue with "incorporating Knockout" on the masthead was 12th October 1974, so 66 issues altogether(industrial action not withstanding).
ReplyDeleteThe next issue of Whizzer and Chips (19 October 1974) was its fifth birthday issue. The logo was changed slightly and made smaller and the new cover design also had a yellow frame. That issue is also one of the few issues at that time without Sid's Snake on the cover.
